Is Hillary Clinton mentioned in the Epstein Files?

  • Hillary Clinton
    's name appears in Jeffrey Epstein's files, but largely in a peripheral or indirect capacity. According to recent reports and document releases as of February 2026:
  • Frequency and Nature of Mentions: Her name appears in over 700 files within the Epstein documents. However, the vast majority of these instances are simply news articles about her 2016 presidential campaign that were shared with or by Epstein.
  • Direct Interaction: There is no public evidence in the files or otherwise that Hillary Clinton had a direct personal relationship with Epstein or was involved in his criminal activities. In a February 2026 deposition, she testified under oath that she never met Jeffrey Epstein and never visited his homes or private island.
  • Connection to Ghislaine Maxwell: Clinton has acknowledged meeting Epstein's associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, on a few occasions. Maxwell was a "guest of a guest" at Chelsea Clinton's 2010 wedding and attended events hosted by the Clinton Global Initiative, but Hillary Clinton described their relationship as strictly casual

Is Melania Trump mentioned in the Epstein Files?

  • Email to Ghislaine Maxwell: The files include a 2002 email from Melania (then Knauss) to Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell. In the email, she calls Maxwell "G" mentions a New York magazine profile of Epstein, and says she "cannot wait" to go to Palm Beach, concluding with "Love, Melania".
  • "Sweet Pea" Reply: Maxwell replied to the email, calling Melania "sweet pea" and discussing scheduling a time to get together in New York.
  • Allegations of Introduction: A 2019 FBI document contained in the files cites an unnamed witness claiming that Jeffrey Epstein introduced Melania to Donald Trump. This contradicts the established story that she was introduced to Trump by Paolo Zampolli.
  • Photo Evidence: The files contain photographs from the early 2000s showing Melania alongside Epstein and Maxwell at public events.
