Craig has problems with my post
Craig thinks there is no scriptural basis to claim this.
Craig remains willfully ignorant of the Jesus in the Gospels, even on the cross, and even in the face of the power of death. Odd for a bible idolator. Well, exceedingly common actually.
Let Craig count the times Jesus opposed the Jewish authorities of the Pharisees and scribes in clashes over Sabbath observance.
- by healing
- by handwashing
- by picking grain
- by eating with sinners
- by neglecting to fast
Let Craig count the times Jesus claims divine authority (blasphemy)
Jesus overthrew the merchants and money changers in the temple and whipped them with cords.
Jesus refused to answer to the High Priest, Caiaphas, and the Sanhedrin regarding the accusations. But he did affirm that he was the Messiah, a blasphemous offense.
Jesus refused to answer the ruling Roman governor, Pilate.
Jesus refused to come down off of the cross when asked and easily could have done so.
And Jesus shook off the powers of death.
Jesus did not comply with the powers of this world. He fed the poor and loved sinners.
