Today Glenn claims that quoting Trump’s own words in defending an assassin is Leftist propaganda. “I read tons of news on a daily basis but I don't buy into LEFTIST propaganda.” Oh the violent and bloodthirsty hearts of the Raging Right.

Yesterday, I directed Glenn to what Trump said in defense of Mohammed bin Salman, whom the CIA says directed the kidnapping and dismemberment of the journalist, Jamal Khashoggi:

“A lot of people didn’t like that gentleman that you’re talking about,” Mr. Trump said, referring to Mr. Khashoggi. Mr. Trump defended the crown prince, who sat next to him, looking down and inspecting his hands: “Whether you like him, or didn’t like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it, and we can leave it at that. You don’t have to embarrass our guest by asking a question like that.”

Trump woos Saudi Arabia and hosts a dinner for an assassin for money.

Glenn nourishes a sick love for Trump to preserve his faith in White Supremacy.

Not a book

In John 14, Jesus makes clear that after him the Holy Spirit will come to us, as his disciples, to “teach us everything” and to build us up in love. No mention of a book. A lot of bible worshippers love idolatry. So what is scripture for? Exactly what it does: to point us to the Incarnation of God, Jesus the Christ, and to the sustainer of faith and love, God the Holy Spirit.
