Who manipulated their poorer brothers to serve on the regime that didn’t really provide for everyone?
And where did all that take place as a stringently organized, strictly controlled “community”/organization?
The unconscious urge, as Jamelle Bouie puts it, is to win at the social status game so that the (White or White wannabe) man can dominate others.
